Requesting a journey

The form prepares a journey request for you to send through WhatsApp or email. A request does not reserve a vehicle. Cornwall Taxis will confirm availability, the agreed fare and journey details with you. For a taxi needed soon, call 07773 330165.

Fare estimates and confirmation

Any fare shown is an estimate only. We’ll confirm the final price and availability after receiving your booking request. Your booking is only confirmed once you receive confirmation from Cornwall Taxis.

Local journey estimates use £4 per mile for pickups from 07:00 to midnight, and £8 per mile from midnight to 07:00, in Cornwall (UK) time. Each leg of a return journey uses its own pickup time and route distance. These are mileage-only estimates; no minimum fare, waiting time or extras are included. Displayed distances are rounded, while fares use the full route distance. Group, Business and Corporate bookings are priced on application. Airport transfer estimates apply in either direction between any Cornwall address and the listed airport: London airports £600 one way or £1,000 return; Bristol Airport £350 one way or £600 return; Exeter Airport £200 one way or £400 for two singles; Newquay Airport £100 one way or £190 return when both pickups are from 07:00 to midnight (Cornwall/UK time). Newquay returns with either pickup between midnight and 07:00 require a price from our team. London covers Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, London City and Southend. Return prices cover both legs on the same route. These airport estimates do not use the local overnight mileage rate. Other airports and multiple vehicles are priced on application. The final fare is confirmed after your request.

Locations and estimates

Check your selected pick-up and destination before sending. A postcode or town suggestion may describe an area rather than an exact collection point. Include the house name, number or meeting point in your notes when needed.

Any distance and driving time shown is an approximate route estimate for the indicated leg without live traffic, additional stops or waiting time. It is not a fare quote or a guaranteed arrival time.

Google Maps services

Address suggestions and route estimates are provided by Google Maps Platform. By using those features, you are also bound by the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service. See our privacy notice for how location searches are shared with Google.
