This notice describes how the website handles your booking enquiry.

Address search and route estimates

When you type into an enabled address search, the search text is sent through our server to Google Maps Platform for suggestions. When you select locations, we use those locations to request a driving distance and time. We do not send Google your name, phone number, email or journey notes.

Google processes this information under its Privacy Policy. Choose “Use manual address entry” beneath the journey fields before typing if you do not want address searches sent to Google. Typing in an enabled search field sends the search text to Google.

Booking requests

Your booking form prepares a message in your browser. It does not create a booking database record. Choosing WhatsApp or email passes your prepared request to that application. You decide when to send it. Cornwall Taxis receives what you send and uses it to discuss and arrange your journey.

WhatsApp and your email provider handle messages under their own privacy policies. Please include only details needed to arrange your trip.

Technical information

Address search uses a temporary session cookie to protect the service and link your location selections. The server temporarily holds selected place identifiers in that session. Daily usage counters use a hashed IP address to limit misuse; the counters reset each day. Hosting infrastructure may also record ordinary access and error logs. This website does not add advertising or analytics scripts.

Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, which receives the normal technical details of those web requests.
